Registration Upon Arrival
According to Azerbaijani migration law, all foreign citizens staying in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days must register at their place of residence. For citizens of Kazakhstan, the period is 30 days. Registration must be completed within 15 (or 30) days of arrival.
You can register in one of two ways:

In person at the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan: Binagadi Highway 202, Baku.

Online via the official website: migration.gov.az.
Alternatively, the host (hotel, landlord, or private accommodation provider) can complete the registration on your behalf.
Note: If your stay in Azerbaijan is less than 15 days (or 30 days for Kazakh citizens), registration is not required.
Medical Insurance
Medical care for foreigners in Azerbaijan is provided on a commercial basis. That’s why travel health insurance is strongly recommended. Azerbaijan Travel International advises all visitors to arrange insurance before arrival to avoid unexpected medical expenses.
Currency and Payments
All official transactions in Azerbaijan are made in the national currency — Azerbaijani manat (AZN). However, it’s easy to exchange USD or EUR at banks, exchange offices, shopping malls, and airports across the country. Cashless payments via card are also widely accepted.
